Rural power development has been rapid, but due to various factors, load stability is poor and varies greatly. This situation increases the difficulty of accurate metering. Selecting current transformers based on the rated capacity of distribution transformers requires replacing the current transformer or changing the number of primary turns under light loads, and then restoring it once the load increases, which is very cumbersome in practice.
Based on long-term experience and local conditions, and in cooperation with the manufacturer, the following improvements were made to the original current transformer: the original busbar-type current transformer with only one ratio was redesigned to have two ratios, and the secondary terminals were moved from the bottom to the original label location on top. This way, when the load changes, only the secondary terminals of the current transformer need to be replaced to solve the ratio problem, and the wiring is very convenient.
